Sample Summer Wedding:
![]() Guests arrive to the tranquil riverside setting and enjoy a champagne or cocktail reception in the gardens, orchard and sundeck. Canapés are passed by handsome staff in crisp, white, floor length linen aprons and artfully presented on cut glass trays, slate surfaces, oval mirrors and exotic leaves. Guests mingle and relax as the jazz trio play on. At the appointed time guests are invited to supper, and a plated first course. After a sumptuous meal, marvellous wines, delicate desserts, sentimental speeches, rousing toasts and the ceremonial cake cutting – tea, coffee and cheese course will define the end of dining. Guests retire to the bar or step outside. There, they discover secret seating areas illuminated by copious candles, lounge on large floor cushions lit by towers of paper lanterns. Soon the dancing will begin, and once started continues into the wee small hours. A delectable buffet of ‘midnight snacks’ keeps the revellers in reverie: hot grilled cheese sandwiches, miniature chorizo pizzas, spicy sweet potato wedges w/ roasted garlic aioli, miniature fish and chips and large bowls of warm toffee popcorn, tiny sugared donuts & miniature brownies. Steaming hot chocolate sends everyone to bed, dreaming sweetly………
